Rangers Have A Not So Happy Opening Day While Cubs Rest

The Rangers got beat 8-1 thanks in large part to Jason Jennings inablitity to throw strikes. It's hard to get people out if you don't throw strikes, and the Orioles took advantage of the poor Rangers pitching, while the Rangers rarely strung more then one hit together.

Other games yesterday...

DET 0 BOS 5 F

Didn't see this game (as I was at the Rangers game), but it would appear that Joe Morgan's prediction about the Road changing the Tiger's fortunes was a bit premature.

Today's game matches Ryan Dempster, in his second start since returning to the rotation from his closer role, for the Cubs against young left hander Zach Duke for Pittsburgh. The game starts at 6:05pm CST, that's right, the first Cubs night game of the season so far.

Here's today's games.
